Training and Transformation Request

We affirm that LGBTQ older adults are diverse and not a monolithic group, as they often depicted in mainstream media. Our training model encourages participants to examine the intersections of race, gender, disability, immigration status and other identities, and the ways in which culture informs our experiences and expressions of our sexual orientation and gender identity.

We endeavor to approach our trainings through a lens of equity and cultural humility and continue to learn from the unique perspectives of LGBTQ seniors, their caregivers, and service providers to strengthen the continuum of care for all.
